 How I joined the FHL

    I joined through the rec.sports.hockey original post, An original if quiet, GM.  
I responded to the initial posting on rec.sports.hockey.
I was early enough to get my top choice of teams -- da bruins.
Chipman was also a Bruins fan and we often competed for Bruins prospects.
Though Dennis was so fond of prospects he seldom had a roster with a majority of players were actually skating in the NHL (well, that's probably a bit of an
exaggeration, but not by much!)

I think Dennis is one of the few FHL GMs I've ever actually spoken to. I called him in some long forgotten draft day emergency. (Of course, I've actually played hockey with 2003 FHL Champion Aaron Braskett, but that's different :)
