The Current GM

 How I joined the FHL

Sadly, I honestly can't remember who brought me into the FHL. I thought it might be you Wonger, I know you were commish when I joined two years ago this August. I know it was posted on a message board about a GM opening (think it was Hockey's Future)... but who put me onto it? I can't recall.

I was lucky though, I had no GM experience in any fantasy league, this was my first. Seeing the variety and diversity of knowledgeable and experienced GMs in this league, I now find myself very lucky I was allowed to take over PIT 2 years ago. It has been an awesome experience.

I have attached some pics from my first year at the NHL Draft (in Toronto 2002) when I worked as a draft volunteer. I must warn you, I look quite stupid in these pics, but they are the only ones I have on my comp of me... and they have a special sentiment to me as well.

As for background info, I attended Guelph University where I majored in BSC Honours Mathematics and Statistics... minored in Business Administration. My first job was for a photography studios out of Brantford called Angel Studios. I basically was a secretary there. Then I worked at A&P and worked my way up there, and recently have just finished my first year of part time work with the NHL Central Scouting Service.

If I were to adopt a motto for myself for my self/family/team to use, it would likely be something like this:

"Legends start as ordinary people just like us, then find a way to be remembered. What memomarable thing for yourself and others will you do today?"
